THE INTERVIEW :
Having understood the preparations required for an interview, let us
examine what goes into making an interview successful.
Being on Time:
Respect the interviewer's time by coming ten minutes before the
scheduled time.
Dressing up for the interview:
When attending for an interview, always dress up formally.
Waiting for the Interview Call:

Utilize this time to introduce yourself to other candidates and size
them up, their attitudes and confidence levels.
· Ask for any literature concerning the organization, which could give
some information, which could be of use at the interview.
The Interview:
· Entering the room: Prior to opening the door, adjust the tie/
suit/ saree so that it falls well. Seek permission
before entering the room as well as before sitting down.
· Lead the interview
· Get the job specification
· Enthusiasm
· Be brief
· Don't bluff
· Tell them what you want them to know
· Sell yourself
· Keep the interviewer's attention
· Avoid slang
· Avoid smoking
· Be well mannered
· Be poised
· Ask questions
· Maintain eye contact
· Listen carefully
· Be natural
